The CDPI the successful conduct of the Centrist Orientation Seminar entitled: Centrist Democracy and the Bangsamoro Political Entity cum Bangsamoro Regional Assembly last April 5, 2014 at IAG Function Hall, Old Umex Bldg., Notre Dame University, Cotabato City. The purpose of the foregoing title is to relate the principles of the CDP to the looming Bangsamoro Government in solidarity Said COS was meant to join BOS in the 4 Districts of CDP Bangsamoro (1st District of Maguindanao; 1 for Cotabato City and 1 for Marawi City) in order to establish additional contact persons or alliances in different municipalities if not to compose interim officers in areas where participants came from. Joining 2 COSs would mean 50 participants but as we were trying to contact our target attendees to confirm their actual attendance, most of them were saying there will be friends coming with them and so we anticipated that more than 50 participants may be coming over. Hence, record of actual attendance revealed that all participants including the staff /speakers numbered up to 73 individuals.The active participation and support of the team of elected officials (Bruce, Jojo, Misuari, Sammy, Razul and Assy. Cahar) and the 4 fellows (Abbey, Jud, Hassan and yours truly) and Fr. Jun Mercado further insured attendance and participation of invitees.We were suppose to end at 12:30 in the afternoon but the lively interactions on the question and answer portion further extended the schedule up to about 2pm. Everybody was delighted to see and hear personally Mr. F. Sionel Jose who gave a very impressive talk on the Philippine Political Situation: A perspective. The forum was finally ended by the closing remark of one of our legislator in the ARMM now certified CDP member, Assy. Cahar P. Ibay. The entire program was facilitated by our City Councilor, Mohammad Ali “Bruce”.
The second part of said activities was our Regional Assembly participated in by the elected delegates from the 4 district in the ARMM/Bangsamoro (First and Second Districts of Maguindanao, City districts of Cotabato and Marawi) .
