Centrist Democrats gather interested groups in Agusan del Sur
Participants of the Centrist Democracy Lecture Series (CDLS) conducted in four areas in Agusan del Sur last 25-26 April 2015 manifested interest as they heard about the teachings of Centrist Democracy (CD).
Participants, man of whom came from various sectors and barangays, said that they are very interested to organize and for their own CD groups as well as hold the same activity [CDLS] in their neighboring barangays.
According to Jordan Antolin, CDLS Trainor, "Participants were very participative and grateful" and "Change was a common call by almost everybody."
Around 28 individuals attended in the municipality of Prosperidad, 22 in Bayugan City, 20 in Trento, and 32 in Rosario.
The seminars introduced the concepts of CD in th light of the current Political System and Party Politics.
After which was a brief introduction on the vision, mission, and goals of the Centrist DemocracyPolitical Institute (CDPI) and the CDLS.
In each event, all were able to engage themselves thru a workshop that catered the issues nd concerns of their communities
A discussion on the history of CD and its four corresponding pillars followed which highlighted the lecture on political and electoral reform.
During the open forum, some opened up that they "need more educational political campaigns with the same topics". Some also expressed their eagerness to become political party
The seminars ended succesfully with a synthesis. The aforementioned CDLS activities were spearheaded by Master Trainors from Cagayan de Oro City, Jordan Antolin and Rene Tibon.
CDPI is a non-government organization that conducts seminars on political technocracy to individuals and members of Cetrists oriented groups nationwide.
