“Aron makab-ot ang tinuod nga Demokrasya”: CDPI conducts CDLS in Compostela Valley
With the theme, “KalihukansaPagkab-otsaTinuodngaDemokrasya”, Master Trainors from the CDPI ensued a lecture series to about 20-30 participants from different barangays and sectors in the provinces of Montevista and Compostela, Compostela Valley.
Conducted last 7 and 28 of June 2015, the participants were given first hand on the inputs of Philippine politics and party system which was followed by a 30-minute discussion on the history of Centrist Democracy and its four founding pillars.
A lecture on the criteria of a real political party followed for the purposes of introducing electoral and political reforms.
Furthermore, the workshop and open forum engaged the participants’ on the plight of their communities regarding the bad practices of traditional politics. Most of them revealed how these practices affect their willingness to pursue good governance.
Due to the successful seminar, some participants manifested interest to pursue the same lecture in their respective barangays.
The facilitators of the said event were Atty. Jaime Lopoz Jr. and Mayjoy Kho.
CDPI is a non-government organization that conducts seminars on political technocracy to individuals and members of Centrist oriented groups nationwide.
